Top gear returns tonight for episode three, and we have a road trip by our intrepid trio as they take three small hatchbacks for an adventure on the Crimean Peninsula. Jeremy Clarkson takes the new VW up! city car, Richard Hammond has the Ford Fiesta and James May the Dacia Sander (what else could he have taken?) as the boys traverse one of the biggest countries in Europe (and encounter many lorries, it seems).

The new 2014 Kia Sorento has been unveiled ahead of its debuts in Korea and Paris this autumn. It’s the third-generation of Sorento, and doesn’t deviate far from the format of the previous two crossovers. The new Kia Sorento is quite distinct from the Sportage, with a more American/Asian design vibe; it was designed in the Namyang studio in Korea.

This is the Jeep Renegade. It’s based on the Fiat 500L, uses several of Fiat’s engines, and is built at Fiat’s Melfi plant in Italy. You’d expect, then, that it’s merely an about-town crossover in off-road fancy dress.
